Prince at the Electric Ballroom, London

 

 True to his status as the last enigma in music, Prince crashed into London this week in a ball of confusion, generating huge excitement by keeping us guessing on his movements right up until the last minute. The last time he played the capital, he filled the cavernous O2 arena for 21 nights with a huge band. This time round he has a new guise: humble lead guitar wizard in the otherwise all-girl.
