If there is a Nokia
phone that has grabbed more attention and headlines than others since
the company announced its comeback to the market, it has been the Nokia 3310 (2017).
As per the pre-order listings spotted
by NokiaPowerUser, the Nokia 3310 (2017) will be made available in both
Germany and Austria on April 28. Interestingly, the device seems to
carry a higher price tag (mostly around EUR 56) than company's
recommended price of EUR 49 (roughly Rs. 3,400) in these listings.
Separately, HMD Global, the company which currently holds the right to manufacture and sell phones under Nokia brand name, has confirmed to NPU
that a pre-order listing of a Nokia 3310 (2017) variant with support
for 3G is incorrect and the phone will only be supporting 2G
connectivity.
