US admiral claims North Korea's actions are a 'recipe for DISASTER' following missile test

     

NORTH Korea’s actions are a “recipe for disaster” as despotic leader Kim Jong-un continues to develop his nuclear capabilities, the number one US military official in the Pacific has claimed.

Admiral Harry Harris Jr. said Kim Jong-un does not care about his failed missile tests as he pushes to create a nuclear arsenal no matter the cost.

Admiral Harris, who is in charge of the United States Pacific Command, claimed North Korea is “closer to being able to deliver a nuclear-equipped missile anywhere in the world”.

He added: “Combining nuclear warheads with ballistic technology in the hands of a volatile leader like Kim Jong Un is a recipe for a disaster.

“Kim Jong-un is not afraid to fail in public and every test he makes is a success because it takes North Korea one step closer to being able to deliver a nuclear-equipped missile anywhere in the world.”

Meanwhile North Korea has vowed to continue secret underground nuclear explosions and ballistic missile tests as the sabre rattling hermit kingdom bolsters its military capability.

Kim Jong-un’s state media told his citizens testing would continue despite threats and sanctions from three of the world’s greatest superpowers – the US, China and Russia.

Earlier this week the tyrannical despot tested an intermediate-range ballistic missile, which is believed to be capable of reaching US territory.

The North’s Director of Asian Affairs Pak Jong-hak claimed the secretive state is attempting to bolster its defences.

He said: ”Until the US and its followers make the right choice we will further produce sophisticated and diversified nuclear weapons and striking means to push and prepare for necessary tests”.

      

The hermit state tested a ballistic missile early on Sunday from the northwestern city of Kusong, marking the sixth launch this year.The White House released a statement, which read: "With the missile impacting so close to Russian soil - in fact, closer to Russia than to Japan - the President cannot imagine that Russia is pleased.”The statement also urged other nations to implement greater sanctions against Pyongyang in a bid to rein in its nuclear weapons and missile development programs.
