‘Power’ executive producer, 50 Cent, threatens to pull the show

        50 Cent
Rapper and actor, Curtis Jackson popularly known as 50 Cent is one of the executive producers of popular TV series, Power and he also stars as Kanan in the series.

The entrepreneur threatened American entertainment company Starz about pulling the show over inadequate treatment following Sunday night’s new episode.
Sunday’s episode saw the deaths of two major characters in the series played by Anika Noni Rose and J.R. Ramirez.
50 Cent wrote in his post:
I woke up feeling a little different about POWER this morning . If the biggest show on your net work doesn’t mean anything, what does your network mean STARZ? I’m taking my talents to south beach fuck this.
It was originally planned to be a double episode with some additional storylines.
However, according to show runner, Courtney Kemp, Starz disagreed to extend the episode which resulted in just one packed episode. This resulted in the loss of some story elements in the episode.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Kemp said:
Unfortunately, Starz would not give us the extra episode, I asked them for 12 episodes for season 4 and they would not do it. So because they would not do it, we had to make it one episode.
This isn’t the first time he’s threatened to leave the show or take it from Starz.
Power is said to be one of Starz’s highest-rated series and is currently in its fourth season.
